Once a hunting ground of Maharajas of Jaipur situated between the Aravali Hills and Vindhya Plateau is now one of the renowned national parks named as the Ranthambore National Park. Located in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, the Ranthambore National Park is also now a Tiger Reserve with an area of 392 sq. km and houses a variety of flora and fauna.

The presence of Royal Bengal tigers is the major reason of it being a popular tourist spot in Rajasthan.
