Kanha National Park or the Kanha tiger reserve is the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh and is also one of the Tiger reserves of India. The present day Kanha tiger reserve was formerly divided into two sanctuaries Hallon and Banjar. The park has also been graded among the top 10 famous places for tourists in India. It is abode of animals like the Royal Bengal Tiger, Indian leopards, Barasingha, Sloth Bear and the Indian wild dog. The dense forest, Sal and Bamboo trees and the Green Meadows are the attractive features of the National Park. The rich flora and fauna of the region draws tourist from across the countries.
