Day 1. Arrive Delhi
On your arrival at the Delhi International airport you will be greeted by our agent who would be in your service up till your stay in Delhi. From the airport you would be escorted to the Leela Palace hotel where you can relieve yourself from jet lag in the luxurious suites. If time allows you would be driven around the bustling markets to have a look into the lifestyle of the locals.
Day 2. In Delhi
This morning you will explore the heart of India beginning from Old Delhi visiting the impressive Red Fort which was the residence of rulers of Mughal dynasty, the largest mosque in India- Jama Masjid and the second tallest minaret in India- the Qutub Minar which till today carry the Mughal legacy. A walk through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk will expose you to mouth watering street delicacies, extremely popular in Delhi. Your sightseeing tour also will include places with impressive architecture like the Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and the Akshardham temple.
Day 3. Drive to Agra
The romantic city of Agra would be the next milestone to be covered in your voyage. This morning you will drive to this historical city. On arrival in the city you will be chauffeured to the Oberoi Amarvilas hotel where the room offers an uninterrupted view of the magical monument- Taj. The evening is at your leisure. Take a dive in the expansive pool of the supreme hotel or spend your evening just strolling around the nearby market.
Day 4. In Agra
This morning enjoy the guided tour of the monuments that boast of the mughal extravagance like the Tomb of Itmad-ud-daula, Mehtab Bagh, imposing Agra Fort, Sikandara and many more. The guide will acquaint you with the historical significance of these interesting places. Visit the iconic monument- the Taj Mahal in the evening when the sun is about set and the entire monument glitters in red-orange hue.
Day 5. Agra to Ranthambore (290 km)
This morning you will be driven to Sawai Madhopur. On the way you will visit the erstwhile Mughal capital Fatehpur Sikri which remained so till only 14 years and was later abandoned. Spectacular red sandstone buildings like the Panch Mahal, Jama Masjid, Sheikh Salim Chisty Dargah, etc are highlights of this town. On arrival in Ranthambore you will be escorted to the finest hotel, Oberoi Vanyavilas for two nights stay in the luxury tents.
Day 6. In Ranthambore
This morning leave the hotel for adventurous jungle safari in the Ranthambore National Park which is home to wide variety of flora and fauna. Numerous bird and animal species like deer, sloth bear, leopard, shy caracal and of course tigers can be sighted here amidst the dry deciduous forest. Followed by the thrilling ride, you will visit the massive Ranthambore Fort and the ancient Trinetra Ganesh Temple situated in the fort.
Day 7. Ranthambore to Jaipur (168 km)
The beautiful capital of the state of Rajasthan- the Pink City Jaipur would be your next spot in the journey. Upon arrival you would be chauffeured to a Boberoi Rajvilas where you can have a taste of royalty in your two days stay. Alternatively, you even stay at Taj Rambagh Palace according to your preference and comfort.
Day 8. In Jaipur
Jaipur holds in its heart the royal legacy of the Rajputs rulers. In your full day sightseeing tour you will visit the formidable Amer Fort situated on a hilltop offering panoramic view of the entire city. This magnificent fort comprises of courtyards, balconies and palaces like Sheesh Mahal which provide an insight about the extravagant lifestyle of the Rajput rulers. The Jantar Mantar observatory, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Albert Hall Museum are the other gems of the city which draws innumerable tourists. Stroll down the bustling streets of Jaipur stuffed with indigenous crafts, textiles and other items.
Day 9. Drive to Jodhpur (337 km)
Early morning you will be driven through the scenic Aravali Hills to reach Jodhpur Upon arrival you will be dropped at the opulent Taj Ummaid Bhawan Palace hotel with beautifully laid extensive gardens, a part of which till today a royal residence; hence providing you the same royal vibes. Rest of the day is free for your independent activities.
Day 10. In Jodhpur
This morning embark to explore the walled city of Jodhpur and get familiar with the city. The majestic Mehrangarh Fort is the jewel of the city and requires mandatory visit due to its grandeur. Situated on a rocky hilltop, the fort covers an expansive area and offers panoramic view of the city. A few kilometers from the fort is the Jaswant Thada, a beautiful monument constructed in white marble. The cenotaphs of Mandore, spectacular Ummaid Bhawan Palace and Ghanta Ghar are few more places that you will look forward to.
Day 11. Drive to Udaipur via Ranakpur (259 km)
On your way to Udaipur you will visit the famous Ranakpur Jain temples which are known for elaborate carvings in the white marble structure and are an example of the artistic excellence. Situated in the lap of Aravalis the picturesque Lake City of Udaipur is in the bucket list of every traveller. Upon arrival you will be dropped at the well known Oberoi Udaivilas offering the scenic lake view, where rest of the day is free for your independent activities.
Day 12. Udaipur
Owing to its immense beauty, Udaipur is often referred as the Venice of the East.
Begin your sightseeing tour with the exquisite City Palace overlooking Lake Pichola. The Palace is largest in Rajasthan and is adorned with beautiful paintings, frescos and inlaid glass work which is quite amusing. The 17th century Jagdish temple, Saheliyo Ki Bari, Fatehsagar Lake and the Eklingji temple are few other places popular among tourists in Udaipur. End your day by enjoying a private boat ride in Lake Pichola at the sunset.
Day 13. Delhi Departure
This morning, our representative will transfer you to the Udaipur Airport to board the flight for New Delhi. Continue your onward journey by taking international flight back home.
