Day 1. Arrive in Jodhpur
A city that shines bright all round the year, Jodhpur would be the commencing point of your journey in India. Upon your arrival at the airport you would be driven to the hotel assisted to complete the check in formalities. Your accommodation would be arranged in a luxurious hotel for your comfortable stay in the city.
Day 2. In Jodhpur
This morning embark to explore the walled city of Jodhpur and get familiar with the city. The majestic Mehrangarh Fort is the jewel of the city and requires mandatory visit due to its grandeur. Situated on a rocky hilltop, the fort covers an expansive area and offers panoramic view of the city. A few kilometers from the fort is the Jaswant Thada, a beautiful monument constructed in white marble. The cenotaphs of Mandore, spectacular Ummaid Bhawan Palace and Ghanta Ghar are few more places that you will look forward to.
Day 3. Jodhpur to Jaisalmer
On this day you will pack your bags and moving forward in your journey reach Jaisalmer. Upon arrival you would be chauffeured to the heritage hotel where you would be staying for two days. Jaisalmer is also known as the Golden city due to the golden hue it imparts from the golden sands to the golden sandstone fort.
Day 4. In Jaisalmer
This morning zoom through this desert city and visit the places that draw tourists from all over the globe. The impressive Sonar fort is the only habitable fort in India and will take back you in time. You would be amazed to see the intricately carved Jain Temples which speak high of the artistic skills of the people of bygone era. The ornate havelis of Jaisalmer, like Patwaon ki haveli, are also a popular tourist attraction of the city.
Day 5. Jaisalmer to Dechu
The most awaited moment of your journey arrives as you will proceed for Dechu for night camping at the heart of Thar Desert. A blissful evening with vibrant folk dance and folk music performances amidst the sand dunes would be a lifetime experience. You will stay overnight at the camps.
Day 6. Depart from Jodhpur
The beautiful journey in the desert comes to an end as you will depart for Jodhpur in the morning and dropped at the airport where you can board the flight back home.
